There are a range of clubs, groups, and fellowships for adults of every generation at London Road.

House Groups

Housegroups are an essential part of our fellowship and spiritual education at London Road. We have groups all over the town and groups of all ages that meet to study the Bible, explore further the ideas that came up in recent sermons, discuss a Christian response to current events, and share topical discussions. Groups also enjoy social events such as dinners, barbecues, quiz nights, theatre trips, and more. Housegroups are little families within the larger church family, caring for each other and serving the life of the church. Please take a look at House Group page for more information.

Prayer Partners

Prayer Partners meet every Saturday at 9:00am for prayer; breakfast is also served at 9:00am on the first Saturday of the month when we meet at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church in Roffey. All other Saturdays we meet at London Road. We pray for the family of the church, our ministers and other leaders. We remember the wider church in our town, circuit, and country. We remember Christian brothers and sisters who are suffering for their faith in other parts of the world. If anyone would like us to make intercession on their behalf we will do so. We are discreet and only say names with your permission. All are welcome to join us! For more information, contact Jay Dunning at jrsdunning@aol.com.

Prayers are also held in the church every Tuesday morning at 9.00 am.

Bible Study

Our minister Gavin leads a Bible study at 10:00 am on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. Together we explore books of the Bible or the lives of key Biblical characters over the course of several weeks and months. If you’d like to read and discuss the Bible with others, do join us! For more information, contact Rev. Gavin Hancocks on 01403 240714 or office@lrmchorsham.org

Ladies Wednesday Club

This fortnightly club is for all ladies, enjoys a varied programme of guest speakers, outings, and “Do It Yourself” activities, and participates in all kinds of evenings, from learning craft and cookery skills to topical lectures to charitable aid work. We meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 7:30pm. For more information, contact Audrey Fowler at office@lrmchorsham.org

Pastoral Care

We care about our members and all who visit our church! Everyone in our church is assigned to a pastoral visitor who looks out for their wellbeing. If you would like to belong to a pastoral group, or if you’re not sure who your pastoral visitor is, get in touch with us. We also have a dedicated team of “Emmaus Companions” who can journey with you as you explore Christianity and our church. Our minister, Gavin, is happy to visit those who cannot get to church and to bring communion to you at home.

For more information, contact Rev. Gavin Hancocks on 01403 240714 or office@lrmchorsham.org

Sunday Lunches

Anyone who lives on their own is welcome to this lunch on the third Sunday of each month (except December). Join us to make friends and enjoy a hot meal together. Lunch is served after the service, around 12:30pm For more information, contact Liz Sear on 01403 268075

Flower Guild

The Flower Guild do a stunning job of decorating the church seasonally and for festive times. They are available for weddings at London Road and can advise on floral arrangements and logistics for your big day! The flower guild joined in last year’s Christmas Tree Festival with several gorgeous window displays, and they organize the weekly flower rota for Sundays. If you have an interest in flower arranging, do get in touch!
