On behalf of the congregation and in the name of Jesus Christ, I offer you a warm welcome to London Road.
Since coming to Horsham in 2009 I have found the people here at church to be friendly and caring, with a genuine concern for one another and for the wider community. If you are able to join us for Sunday worship, whether I am present myself or not, it will be the members of the congregation who will welcome you and help to make you feel at home.
But of course, behind any human welcome lies the love of God expressed in Jesus. When all is said and done, it is Christ who offers the true welcome. In worship he is the one who invites us to meet him. The singing, the prayers and the preaching, the bread and wine – all these are ways in which we hope to encounter Christ as a life-affirming friend and as a Saviour of the lost. Come as you are and Christ will accept you with open arms.
If you are able to visit our church in person then you will be able to discover this welcome for yourself. But if you are simply a visitor to our web site, then I hope you will still find a sense of welcome both from a caring community of believers and from a friend who loves you enough to give up his life for you.
