2^nd Horsham (Methodist) Brownies    

Do you remember being a Brownie?   It’s still LOADS of fun!! 

Our long-running pack meets in the Wesley Hall every Wednesday during term-time. Our meetings run from 5.45 pm to 7.15 pm. The pack is open to girls from the age of 7 – 10 years old, and holds a waiting list for younger girls wanting to join.

Girlguiding UK believes in learning by doing, which we put into practice through these five essential elements:

• Working together in small groups
• encouraging self-government and decision making
• a balanced and varied programme
• caring for the individual
• sharing a commitment to a common standard

The girls enjoy a rich variety of activities throughout the year, from games, crafts, songs, baking and making inside the hall, to canoeing, walks, sleepovers, visits and games outside in the warmer months. The girls also enjoy working towards a variety of brownie badges.
