Last night (9th May 2015), the church hosted a quiz and pudding auction to raise money for Christian Aid. Five teams of eight took part in the quiz, raising more than £400 for the charity.
Once again, Trefor Little asked the questions, which were spread over eight rounds and covered topics including the Bible, sport and the recent election. There was also a particularly tricky anagram round where the teams had to create film titles from phrases like ‘Doughy Dragon’.
The pudding auction was also a success, presided over by Colin Coventry who, with the help of the homemade treats, managed to raise £200.
