Messy Church is a fun worship event involving crafts, singing, games, Bible stories, and food. All families are welcome to join us every third Thursday of the month from 3:30pm-6pm. We have a theme each month which we explore together through paint, films, arts and crafts, songs, and much more, and we end by eating a meal together. Messy Church is a great way to introduce your family to the Bible and to coming to church in a kid-friendly environment!

London Road is delighted to sponsor and host Beavers, Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, Guides, and Explorer Scouts in our church! The uniformed groups meet weekly, hold regular parade services on Sundays, put on charity activities for the community, have days and weekends away, and host the church at their campsite at Colgate during the summer.

Rainbows follow a programme called the Rainbow Jigsaw, through which they can take part in lots of different activities with girls their own age. The Rainbow Jigsaw has four areas: Look, Learn, Laugh, Love;

It’s a great place to meet other parents, grandparents, and childminders, to share experiences, and to support each other. The leaders are there to provide a safe and welcoming environment as well as a listening ear and lots of encouragement.
